In our unit, the members and staff are responsible for the operation of the Van Program, the membership process, media center and the wellness focus within the clubhouse. This unit offers members the opportunity to develop their technical skills. With members learning new skills and sharing their creativity, they help keep the Clubhouse running smoothly and efficiently. Some of the work we are responsible for includes:
Typing, photocopying, shredding, laminating, mailing, faxing, filing, binding, etc.
Creating various greeting cards as needed
Answer the main Crossroads phone line
Hospital Visits & Home Visits
Van transportation for members who are unable to access public transportation
Membership Process (i.e. scheduling tours, screening membership applications, orientation).
Keeping a digital format of clubhouse statistics
Maintain and update Facebook and Website
Video editing and production
Manage the Wellness Room on the 3rd floor (Watering plants, harvesting herbs and vegetables, maintain fitness equipment)
