Our work unit, through hard work, laughter and fun on the part of our dedicated member and staff colleagues, is able to provide a wide range of opportunities each and every day.

Meal Program

Many hands are required to deliver a healthy and nutricious meal every day.  

  • Meal Prep and Cleanup

  • Serving Meals

  • Dishwashing

  • Grocery Shopping

  • Budgeting and Accounting

  • Searching Flyers for the best deals

  • Operating Cafe Trolley

  • Sellling Meal Tickets


Lunch is served daily at 12 noon at a cost of $1.50.  Meal tickets are sold between 8:30am - 9:15am and 10:30am-11:30am.  If you can't make it in to purchase your ticket you can phone in to make your meal reservation.

A big breakfast is served every Friday at a cost of $1.00, this includes a coffee or tea.  Tickets are sold until 9:30am for breakfast.

During evening programs supper can be purchased at cost of $1.50 and tickets are sold from 2:30pm-3:45pm.

If you can't make it in to purchase your ticket you can phone in to make your meal reservation.

On most major holidays the unit facilitates along with enlisted help from the whole clubhouse in preparing traditional holiday meals and refreshments.

  • Monthly Safety Inspections

  • Ordering supplies

  • Cleaning



Community Fridge Initiative

Allows for surplus meals or donated items to be accessed by those in need.
The unit hosts a “Free Meal” once per month at time of the month when people are in high need and low on funds.
